Chintan Girish Modi

Chintan Girish Modi is a Mumbai-based writer, educator and freelance journalist. He completed his M.Phil. in the field of English Language Education, with a focus on writing pedagogy and peer feedback. His articles on art, culture, education and politics have appeared in The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Times of India and Teacher Plus among other publications. He consults with The Prajnya Trust on their Education for Peace Initiative, runs the Mardon Waali Baat project to engage men in conversations about toxic masculinity, and also conducts workshops with schools all over India on gender sensitization and human rights education. He has worked with the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development, Seeds of Peace, Postcards for Peace, Centre for Civil Society and The Kabir Project.
